Patrick Newton, Founder
Patrick Newton is an award-winning strategic communications leader with nearly 20 years of experience helping organizations clarify their message, strengthen their public positioning, and turn ambitious ideas into effective campaigns.
His work spans brand strategy, media relations, digital marketing, executive positioning, public events, publications, podcasting, and external engagement.
Delivering Impact
For nine years, Patrick served as Director of Marketing and Communications at the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service, where he oversaw the school’s communications, marketing, branding, digital presence, and major public events.
He directed the marketing campaign for the launch of Clinton School Online, exceeding the program’s inaugural enrollment goal by 40 percent. Upon arrival, he spearheaded a digital transformation that increased the school’s website traffic by more than 700 percent.
He led the design and publication of the school’s inaugural Impact Report, translating two decades of institutional data and stories into a compelling account of the school’s reach and results. The publication earned first place from Arkansas Press Women among that year’s public relations materials, and advanced to the National Federation of Press Women contest where it placed second nationally.
A Historic Rebrand
Previously, Patrick served as Assistant Athletic Director for Communications at UA Little Rock, leading communications and branding for 14 Division I programs. He helped position the department as “Little Rock’s Team,” directed a major rebrand, and was integral in developing a season-ticket campaign that contributed to a 167% increase in home men’s basketball attendance – the largest increase in the nation that season.
He created, hosted, and produced the 10-episode Little Rock’s Team Podcast, an oral history of the program’s historic 2015-16 season. Episodes and promotional clips generated more than 50,000 combined views and plays across YouTube, Spotify, and Instagram.
Strategy Meets Storytelling
Patrick brings a rare combination of leadership-level strategy and hands-on execution. He knows how to find and uncover a compelling story, build a practical communications plan around it, and carry the work through from the first conversation to the final product.
His consulting practice helps organizations communicate with greater clarity, creativity, and purpose while delivering polished work built to achieve measurable goals.
Patrick is a native of Campbellsville, Kentucky, and a graduate of the University of Kentucky. He and his wife, Stephanie, live in Little Rock with their two daughters.
